DefinitionClostridioides difficile binary toxin subunit b (CDTb) binds to host cells and translocates CDTa (the ADP-ribosyltransferase component of CDT) into the cytosol. CDTb is activated by serine proteases and binds to lipolysis stimulated lipoprotein receptor.
