DefinitionGepotidacin is a triazaacenaphthylene bacterial type II topoisomerase inhibitor used experimentally. It has been in phase III of clinical trials since 2019 for the treatment of gonorrhea, however gepotidacin has demonstrated antibiotic activity against a variety of bacteria.
