DefinitionNaftifine is an antibiotic, particularly antifungal, derived from Allylamine. It was discovered in 19742 at the Sandoz Research Institute in Vienna, Austria. Naftifine is fungicidal against a broad spectrum of dermatophyte fungi and provides good against Candida and Aspergillus species.
