DefinitionA nucleotide sequence change where, compared to a reference sequence, one nucleotide is replaced by one other nucleotide in the promoter region of a gene. These substitutions are indicated as upstream of the reference sequence transcription initiation site. Format is given by [-][position][wildtype][>][mutation], e.g. -11t>c or -15g>Var where Var represents any possible substitution.
