DefinitionLukAB (also known as LukGH) is a bi-component leukocidin pore-forming toxin. Together with γ-hemolysin and other leukocidins of bicomponent synergohymenotropic toxins. Holding the leukocidin identity, this toxin targets and lyses leukocytes as a method of immune evasion.
